Three steps, then it’s there when you need it.

  1. Step 1: Paste the advert link

CVTrail fills in the title, company, place and closing date. You check them and fix anything.

  2. Step 2: Pick the CV you sent

Choose a version you’ve uploaded, or add a new one. Attach the cover letter too.

  3. Step 3: Open it when they call

Weeks later, find the job in seconds and see exactly what the recruiter is reading.

Paste a link. Watch the form fill in.

This is a demo that runs in your browser, so nothing is sent anywhere. In CVTrail it reads the real advert.

Pick a link to try:

  • Reads the job details most job sites publish for search engines.
  • You check everything before it’s saved. Nothing is saved automatically.
  • Only the advert is read. Your CVs never leave CVTrail.

Questions people ask

Is it really free?

Yes. Unlimited jobs and companies, and room for 100 CVs and cover letters (PDF or Word, up to 10 MB each). No adverts, and no card needed.

Who can see my CVs?

Only you. Files are stored privately and only ever downloaded through your signed-in account. We don’t read them, sell them or share them.

Why can’t it read LinkedIn links?

LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor block other sites from reading their job pages. For those, copy the title and company in by hand. Most company career pages and UK job boards, like Reed and totaljobs, work.

What if I send the same CV to lots of jobs?

Upload it once. Pick it for every job you send it to, and its page shows all of them. Upload the same file again by mistake and CVTrail keeps just the one copy.

Can I change a CV after uploading it?

No, on purpose: each file stays exactly as you sent it, so you always know what the recruiter is reading. Upload a new version as a new file.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. Delete a job, a file or a company at any time, or delete your whole account in Settings, which removes all your data and files straight away.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Everything works in your phone’s browser, in light or dark mode.
